Mercedes Benz Cup 9th Annual "Night at the Net" at the Los Angeles Tennis Center
Three time Oscar winner Duffin Hoffman and Michael Chang, former #1 player in the world competed against comedian/sports commentator Dennis Miller and the world's fastest server Mark Philippoussis for an entertaining evening of tennis. Proceeds from the night benefit MusiCares, which was established by the Recording Academy in 1989 to ensure that people in the music business have a place to go when times get tough. Emergency financial assistance, addiction recovery programs and outreach and leadership activities are among some of the services that MusiCares provides. |
