Stars come out for Premiere of Roman Polansky new film "The Pianist"

Jack Nicholson, Fran Drescher, and New-Comer Adrienne Brody was among the festivities this past week for the premiere of Roman Polanskis new film The Pianist.
The film stars Adrienne Brody, who plays a Polish Jew during the holocaust who finds refuge in his piano and a German soldier during World War II.
The film took over a year to film, is based upon a true story and explores the life of one mans fight to live and play his piano, and another mans courage to protect him from the devastation of War.
"Mentally I had to prepare for this film because to experience what this man went through was very heart-wrenching," said Brody. "I had to learn how to play the classical piano and that was very tough but rewarding," he said.
Other celebrities on hand just came out for the support of the film and to enjoy the LA Jewish Symphony that serenaded guest as they arrived for the premiere.
"Im just here to have a good time, and watch a great movie," said Fran Drescher. "No matter what we have to remember those who suffered rather its the holocaust or apartheid, because that is very important," she said.
"Whats a Jewish affair without a buffet," joked Bruce Vilanch.
